Applications
Construction bentonite is used in slurry trenches for contaminant barriers, as a sealing layer in GCLs, and for waterproofing foundations, underground structures, and water reservoirs. The primary requirement is high and consistent free swell and low hydraulic conductivity; project values are confirmed by testing. Grades can be supplied in powder or pellet form.
